Eligibility
Master’s Degree Candidates:
Candidates must have completed a 1-year/2-semester master’s degree following a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree, or a 2-year/4-semester master’s degree after a 3-year bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualifications recognized by the relevant statutory regulatory body.
They must have achieved at least 55% aggregate marks or an equivalent grade. A relaxation of 5% marks or equivalent grade may be granted to candidates from SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer), Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and other categories.
Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree:
Candidates applying with a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree must have at least 75% aggregate marks or equivalent grade.
A relaxation of 5% marks or equivalent grade may be granted to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer), Differently-Abled, EWS, and other specified categories.
M.Phil. Degree Holders:
Candidates who have completed an M.Phil. program with at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade are eligible for Ph.D. admission.
A 5% relaxation in marks or equivalent grade is available for candidates from SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer), Differently-Abled, EWS, and other categories as per the commission’s decisions.
Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirements based on the specific qualification they hold.
