About us
The University of Delhi (DU) is one of India’s most respected and widely recognised universities, admired for its rich legacy and global academic reputation. Established in 1922, DU began with just three colleges and 750 students. Still, over the years, it has grown into one of the largest universities in the country, with 16 faculties, more than 80 academic departments, and over seven lakh students.
