IIFT Delhi Admission Process

Who is Eligible

  1. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with a minimum of 50% marks.
  2. For the MBA (Business Analytics) program, a background in Mathematics or Statistics at the undergraduate level (or specific criteria such as having completed Math at the 10+2 level or being an engineering graduate) is required.

How Selection Happens

  1. Candidates must have appeared in the CAT exam. IIFT no longer uses its own separate entrance test.
  2. Shortlisting for the next rounds is based on CAT score and diversity factors (gender, academic background, etc.).
  3. Shortlisted candidates undergo an extempore test/, and an essay, followed by a personal interview/group discussion (as per that year’s process).
  4. Final admission is decided through a composite score that includes the CAT score, performance in GD/PI/WAT/extempore, academic history, and work experience, where applicable.
