About us
Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth (DPU), Pune is one of the renowned educational establishments, known for the quality education they provide, they have been established in 1984. Conceptualized by the visionary Dr. D. Y. Patil, the university served this dream on a platter to the common man across the city, state and country.
The initiative, which started as a single medical college, has developed into a full-fledged educational complex consisting of 15 institutions under one roof and providing courses in medicine, dentistry, nursing, physiotherapy, optometry, biotechnology, homeopathy, ayurveda, online and management studies.
Over the years DPU has trained more than one lakh students in different field of education who are persona grata in the society because of the knowledge and skill that they have imbibed from the University. DPU is still striking to train accomplished professionals who will in turn give to the world.
