Highlights The two-year full-time Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) is the flagship programme of IIM Tiruchirappalli . Its main objective is to develop young women and men into competent professional managers, capable of working in any sector of organized activity, proceeding leadership and achieving excellence in performance while contributing to the welfare of the larger society. The first year of the programme offers courses covering various disciplines exposing the students to different facets of business management. On completion of these core courses, the programme provides the option of choosing electives from a pool of specialized courses during the second year. The elective courses are designed to nurture future managers in the area of their interests, aligning them with their career goals and objectives. Students work on a Summer Internship assignment in an organization and also undertake ‘Make a Difference’ Team project as part of the curriculum. The Post Graduate Programme in Management is recognized by Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to a Master’s Degree of an Indian University for the purpose of admission to higher studies.
