Highlights IIMB has internally developed an admission process that seeks to identify the most promising candidates for the PGPBA. This admission process partly draws on a similar process adopted for selecting candidates for the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), which in turn has been progressively refined over the years, based on cumulative data on the Common Admission Test (CAT) applicants and the academic performance of the candidates that were admitted to IIMB. The process arrived at is based on the relationship between academic performance of students of the PGP at IIMB and their past academic performance, their CAT score, performance in the admission interview and prior work experience.

Eligibility Criteria for Post Graduate Programme in Business Analytics (PGPBA) at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB)
A bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD).
Valid CAT score at the time of application.
Applicants who have completed professional qualifications, such as CA/ICWA/CS, after Class XII, are also eligible.
Submission of required documents, including transcripts, certificates, statement of purpose, work experience proof (if any), and reference letters.
The program is highly selective, with approximately 45 seats, and is well-regarded for its rigorous curriculum and excellent placement outcomes, offering average packages of around ₹34.88 lakhs.
