As a mark of its second centennial, Deccan Education Society (DES) had taken an ambitious project of starting Navinchandra Mehta Institute of Technology and Development in the city of Mumbai on 1st July, 2008 . NMITD is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and approved by DTE. The Institute offers two programmes of University of Mumbai namely Master of Computers Application (MCA), a three year post graduation programme and Master of Management Studies (MMS), a two year post graduation programme .
