Highlights It is a two-year full-time programme spread over six trimesters leading to the degree in Master of Business Administration. It is the flagship programme of the School of Business Management, NMIMS Deemed-to-be University, Mumbai with a legacy of over 41 years. It has enjoyed a high credibility in the corporate world over the years. Many of our alumni occupy significant leadership positions in the corporate hierarchy while some have been successful entrepreneurs. Tens of thousands of students across the world vie for a seat in the full-time MBA, a flagship program of the School of Business Management, Mumbai. Admissions are conducted through a rigorous entrance procedure (https://www.nmat.org) consisting of a written examination, group discussion and personal interview. It has an acceptance rate of less than 1% every year. Students undergo a wide gamut of courses in the first year followed by an intensive focus on their areas of concentration in Year II. The most notable features of the programme are its objectives and its flexibility in providing a genuinely broad-based education. Annual seminars, CEO series of guest lectures, business simulation games, personal growth lab, psychological profiling, personality development workshops (MBTI), and the like create an all-round holistic development of the student. Final year students have a variety of specializations to choose from depending on their aptitude and preferences. They have the freedom to choose from a large number of electives every trimester. They have an option to choose from non-credit courses and free cross-disciplinary subjects of their choice that suit their individual preferences.
