During the first few years of the BPT programme, students dive into core medical and science subjects — including anatomy, biochemistry, psychology, and therapeutic exercise — that build the foundation for physiotherapy practice. Alongside these subjects, they learn the fundamentals of physiotherapeutic interventions, clinical assessment, and basic rehabilitation techniques. Over time, they move into advanced modules covering neurological, orthopaedic, cardiorespiratory, paediatric, and geriatric physiotherapy, with a strong emphasis on diagnostic skills and treatment planning. Lab work, case discussions, and supervised patient care form the core of the teaching methodology, so students are consistently applying theory to practice. During the final six-month internship, students rotate through different clinical settings, taking on real patient cases under faculty supervision and gaining the confidence and competence to practice independently after graduation.
