As students progress, they enter the clinical phase, which involves rotations across departments, including General Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Community Medicine, and others. In these rotations, students engage in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, emergency services, diagnostics, surgeries, observation, patient history taking, examinations, case discussions, and much more — under the guidance of experienced doctors. The final year and the one-year rotating internship consolidate all previous learning, giving students a chance to actively participate in patient management, emergency care, diagnostics, and multidisciplinary treatment under supervision.
