About St. Stephen's Hospital College of Nursing
St. Stephen’s Hospital College of Nursing traces its history back to 1908, making it one of the oldest nursing-training institutions in India. The nursing school began with basic nursing training (the ‘B-grade’ course), later offering diploma-level (‘A-grade’), and was upgraded to a full College of Nursing in 2008, when it launched the B.Sc. (Hons.). Nursing degree. The college is affiliated to a recognised university and is duly recognised by the national and state nursing councils. SSHCON runs diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate nursing programmes under one roof, giving students the flexibility to complete nursing education at successive levels within the same institution.
