Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have completed 10+2 with English, securing at least 40% marks in the qualifying examination and in English individually from any recognized board. Students from the State Open School and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government are also eligible. Science as a subject is preferred.
Candidates with a 10+2 qualification in the Vocational ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) course, with at least 40% marks in English, from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council are also eligible.
Candidates with a 10+2 qualification in the Vocational Stream-Healthcare Science from a recognized CBSE or State/Central Board, achieving a minimum of 40% marks, are eligible.
Registered ANMs (Auxiliary Nurse Midwives) with passing marks are also eligible.
For foreign nationals:
Examination
Students will appear for a council examination at the end of each academic year, with a minimum passing mark of 50% required separately in both theory and practical components.
Periodic class tests will be conducted to assess student performance, and the average marks from these assessments will be submitted to the council as part of the internal evaluation for both theory and practical.
A model examination will be held prior to the council examination to prepare students for the final assessment.
