In addition to this the department offers Ph.D. programme in Pharmacy. Department has undying passion for research and most of the faculty members are engaged in research activities which includes synthesis, identification and optimization of lead compounds, development of biological assay methods and formulation development of drugs for better pharmacokinetics and dynamics. Drug Discovery Research Lab of the Department is an over busy facility equipped with ultra modern software like Discovery Studio, TSAR, SYSTAT, Chemdraw Ultra and modern equipments for pharmacological evaluation. The Department has highly qualified faculty members specialized in different areas of pharmaceutical sciences; their unstinted efforts in career building of the students inspire them to reach to the newer heights of excellence in their academic pursuits.
B.Pharm
B.Pharm is a 4 years undergraduate course on the pharmaceutical science; the primary courses are pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology and Pharmacognosy. Students will be taught drug formulation, research, quality control and clinical practices and will have a blend of theoretical classroom teaching, laboratory work and industry exposure. Skill sets of B.Pharm Graduates earning their degree in B.Pharm can work as pharmacists, drug inspectors, and medical underwriters, clinical researchers, and quality control officers in organizations such as pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, testing laboratories, government departments and regulatory bodies as well as continue studying further courses such as M.Pharm. or Pharm. D for advanced expertise.

Note: Regular fee for Foreign/NRI/NRI sponsored applicants:- For Group (A+) courses : US Dollar $ 3,850 p.a. , For Group (A1) courses : US Dollar $ 3,200 p.a. , For Group (A2) courses : US Dollar $ 2,500 p.a. and For Group (A3) courses : US Dollar $ 1,750 p.a.
1. The above fee structure shall be applicable to new admissions. Continuing students (those enrolled in an under-graduate or post-graduate course and continuing the same course), shall pay the educational fee as paid by them last year according to 2022-23 fee schedule. Students leaving Class XII and joining an under-graduate programme or completing an under-graduate course and enrolling for a post-graduate shall be treated as new students for the purposes of determining the education fee payable by them.
2. A one-time hostel admission fee or Rs. 5,000/- shall be charged from all newly admitted students.
3. The regular students classified in group (A+), (A1), (A2) and (A3) respectively shall pay a one time course admission fee (non refundable) Rs. 10,000/-, Rs.8,000/-, Rs. 5,000/-, Rs.2000/-
4. Every student shall deposit a security amount (Refundable) of Rs. 10,000/- and an imprest amount of Rs. 2500/-
5. Other miscellaneous charges an amount of Rs. 3500/- shall be charged towards Enrolment fee, Examination fee, Identity Card fee etc.
* B.Sc. (Aviation Science) students will have to pay for 200 hours of flying to BVGFC Rs. 9500/- per hour approximately.

DEVELOPMENT FEE
The above students classified in Group (A+), (A1), (A2) and (A3), respectively, shall pay the development fee of Rs. 41,000/-, Rs. 31,000/-, Rs. 21,000/- and Rs. 12,000/-, respectively, per year, in addition to the fee given above.
