Facilities in Hostels
The institute campus is served with well-constructed hostels for both boys and girls to accommodate a total of 3000 students. Each hostel includes separate messes with an administrative office and the quarter of a warden. The hostel rooms are furnished with free high-speed Wi-Fi, a gymnasium, a medical treatment facility, and a shopping complex for daily requirements like groceries, stationery, laundry, and grooming.
Sports and Recreation Activities
Students can avail use of the gym and get involved in volleyball, cricket, football, and swimming activities within the Vikram Nail Sports Complex. Professional coaches are available for all sports activities to impart knowledge and training to students.
Laundry Services
Laundry services are provided within the campus shopping center, and students may pay on an as-needed basis for the service.
Groceries and Stationery Store
A stationery store has been provided inside the campus shopping center. However, the campus does not have a grocery store.
Security Arrangements
Strict security measures at hostels are as follows:
Security checks at the main gate of each hostel.
Placement of security guards in each hostel building.
A female warden to supervise girls' hostels.
Transportation
Ganpat University has established a transportation system for both students and faculty with more than 52 luxury buses that run around nearby cities like Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Idar, Himmatnagar, and many others.
Post Office
The campus has a local post office that offers all the usual facilities such as money orders, speed post, registered post, money transfer, and insurance services.
Wi-Fi Connectivity
Wi-Fi is made available to students across the campus, including in the hostel and colleges, to freely access the internet through fast connectivity for education and research purposes.
Open Air Theatre
In the midst of thus the Ganpat University boasts an open-air theatre which serves as a venue for cultural programs, youth festivals, annual functions, and other sorts of events. The capacity of the theatre is around 10,000 and is accessible to all students from all the colleges situated on the campus.
Sports Facilities
The university strives for a healthy balance between sports and academics, as there are various fitness activities regarding, but not limited to, cricket, yoga, weight training, aerobic dance, etc. Qualified coaches are available to train students in preparation for national-level competitions in all sports, and students are given access to world-class equipment for every sport. The university encourages students to participate in inter-university events by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
