B.Sc. Electronics
The B.Sc. Electronics programme is designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of electronic systems along with practical exposure to modern technologies. Over six semesters, students study core subjects such as electronic circuits and devices, digital electronics, microprocessors and microcontrollers, communication systems, embedded systems, and signal processing. The curriculum is structured to balance theoretical learning with hands-on experience through laboratory sessions, simulation tools, and real-world projects.
A key feature of the programme is its apprenticeship-based model, introduced from the fourth semester, which allows students to gain industry exposure while continuing their academic learning. Students work on mini-projects and a final-year capstone project, which helps them apply their knowledge to practical problems. Training includes circuit design, PCB development, and hardware prototyping, giving students valuable technical experience.
In the later semesters, students can choose to specialise in areas such as embedded systems and IoT, robotics and automation, VLSI and semiconductor technology, communication systems, or industrial electronics. Workshops, technical events, and innovation challenges further enhance their learning experience and prepare them for industry expectations.
