B.Sc in Fashion Design at T. John College
The B.Sc in fashion Design is three-year full-time undergraduate program provides creative and technical skills to students who wish to pursue a career in the fashion industry. The course content ranges from Fashion Illustration, Textile Science, Garment Construction and Computer Aided Design (CAD) to Pattern Making, Fashion Merchandising and Industry Visits / Workshops / Fashion Shows; besides field work / hands on training through Internship at a fashion studio or institution as well. Facilities for the programme include cutting edge design labs and textile studios, multimedia workshops with CAD software as well as working with industry on project-based work experience. Graduates are able to work as fashion designers, apparel production managers and marketers, fabric developers and buyers, fashion merchandisers, stylists and as film and theatre costume designers or establish their own fashion businesses.
