The admission process at St. Claret College is a structured, merit-based journey designed to ensure each candidate is well-suited for their chosen field of study. Below is the formal outline of the requirements and steps to enrollment:
I. The Admission Process
Initial Application: Candidates must first register on the college portal and submit an application for their specific programme.
Evaluation: The process includes a personal interview and, for select courses, an aptitude test.
Provisional Selection: The institution determines eligibility based on annual cut-off marks and performance in the qualifying examinations and interviews.
Counseling and Verification: Selected candidates will undergo document verification and a formal counseling session with the admission panel, which requires the presence of parents or guardians.
Finalization: Enrollment is completed upon the approval of the admission panel, payment of the prescribed fees, and the submission of all original documents.
II. Eligibility and Selection Criteria
Academic Requirement: Applicants must have successfully completed 10+2, PUC, Higher Secondary, or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
Subject Specifics: Certain programmes may require the completion of specific streams or subjects as prescribed by the department.
University Oversight: Please note that all admissions are strictly subject to final approval by Bangalore University.
III. Important Provisions
Remote Interviews: To accommodate outstation candidates, the institution permits interviews to be conducted virtually via platforms such as Google Meet or Skype.
