Highlights M.Sc. in Chemistry is designed as per UGC norms considering Choice Based Credit System. This course is provided with specialization in Inorganic, Physical and Organic Chemistry. The Program is offered in such a way that students from any combination in B.Sc., can opt for M.Sc. in chemistry. The syllabus is developed keeping in view the requirement of present scenario in industries, pharmaceuticals and R&D labs. For this purpose industrial training and research-based projects have been included in our curriculum. It also enhances their analytical ability and problem-solving approach. The students are continuously evaluated through class tests, assignments, class performance, seminars quizzes etc. throughout the semester.
ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA
Duration: 2 yrs. (i) B.Sc (Hons.) in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized University OR (ii) B.Sc in full subjects with (Hons.) in the concerned subject, obtaining at least 50% marks in aggregate of Hons. An examination from any recognized University OR (iii) B.Sc. with concerned subject securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized University OR (iv) BA with Mathematics as one of the main subject (for M.Sc. Mathematics only) securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized University.
