• Eligible backgrounds include Life Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Horticulture Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Genetics, Botany, Zoology, Food Science, Dairy Science, Nutrition, Medical Lab Technology, and Allied Sciences
• Professional degrees such as MBBS, BDS, B.Pharm, Pharm.D, BVSc, BAMS, and BHMS are also eligible
• Candidates with a BE / B.Tech in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or Biosciences can apply
• Applicants must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination
• SC/ST candidates are eligible with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks
• Any equivalent qualification recognised by the university is also accepted
