It is a broad concept with various components, such as clinical research activities, drug management research, drug manufacturing, determining the right dosages of medications for human consumption, and effects of particular medications on the human body, among others. This course prepares students for a leadership role in the healthcare sector as well by providing training in hospital planning, operations, and project management, including orientation in the management of clinical and support services. The program also provides training in managing finance, materials, and information systems in a hospital environment and builds the perspectives, attitudes, and skills needed to manage people.
