The National Academy for Film and Television has been established by the Educational Media Research Society, (a society registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860) in collaboration with National Institute of Mass Communication which is recognised by California University, USA and Canadian Institute of mass communication, Canada. The objective is to impart quality training and education to the students, so that they excel in the craft of film making, acting and production, and thus utilize the media technology in the best possible manner.
The academy has a NAFT is equipped with editing laboratories and professional shooting studios. The academy has a right proportion of knowledge,demonstration and practical learning in the studio-classroom right proportion of knowledge, demonstration and practical in the studio-classroom along with full scale productions in the media industry. National Academy for Film and Television provides hands-on experience in cinema and journalism.
