Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Meeting with the director to determine the production vision
2. Reviewing raw material to determine the shot
3. Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques
4. Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value
5. Trimming footage and putting together the rough project
6. Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects
7. Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence
8. Consulting with the director and production team throughout the project
9. Creating the final cut for broadcasting

Skills & Requirements:

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography, or a related field
2. Previous work experience as a video editor
3. Hands-on experience with editing software, including Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, and Premier
4. Creative and artistic skills
5. Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects
6. Portfolio of completed film productions
7. Ability to work on a tight schedule
8. Ability to translate ideas into complete projects
