Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Design schematics and PCBs and oversee the hardware design life cycle
2. Work with cross-functional teams such as mechanical teams firmware teams, purchase teams, sourcing teams, testing, and R&D teams
3. Assist in board bring-up and related testing activities
4. Review current designs and improve reliability, quality, cost & manufacturability
5. Support issues reported by production and assembly
Requirements:
1. Knowledge of hardware design, PCB design, soldering, and communication protocols
2. BE/BTech/ME/MTech in electronics, electronics & telecom or equivalent degree
3. PCB design using Altium design
4. Basic understanding of microprocessor & microcontroller based designs
5. Basic understanding of UART(RS-232,RS-422,RS-485),I2C,SPI and Wi-Fi based designs
6. Basic understanding of DC-DC regulators, LDO regulators, and charge controllers
