The Sales and Business Development Associate will play a vital role in supporting the growth and expansion of the company. This individual will assist in implementing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities:

 

Sales and Customer Engagement:

Actively engage with respective district BDOs, potential customers, contractors, and distributors to promote and sell building materials products.

Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Product Knowledge:

Stay informed about the company's  products, including features, specifications, and applications.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of industry trends, competitor products, and market dynamics.

Sales Targets:

Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets as set by the sales manager or company leadership.

Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share within the assigned territory.

Open to travel:

Must be open to travel on regular basis to the assigned districts.

Reporting:

Send out daily, weekly, monthly reports to the top management.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Respond promptly to customer communications and follow up on sales inquiries.

Market Intelligence:

Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to provide insights to the sales manager and contribute to the development of sales strategies.

Report on competitor activities and market trends.

Collaboration with Team:

Collaborate with other members of the sales team, as well as marketing, production, and logistics teams, to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Participate in regular sales team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Administrative Tasks:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.

Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance to the sales manager.

Continuous Learning:

Actively participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and stay updated on industry best practices.
