Highlights Faculty of Commerce was established in 1971. In 1986 Post- Graduate of Commerce, in 1990 M.Phil. (Commerce), and in 2013 Center for Higher Learning and Research in Commerce was Started. Now, Center of Higher learning and Research (CHLR) known as a Institute of Higher Learning Research and Specialized Studies (IHLRSS). In the beginning Faculty of Commerce has conduct classes in Marathi Medium only. After that in the year 1993-1994 English Medium has Started. At Present the total strength of Faculty are 1547 Students including PG Level (1231 Students in B. Com and 316 Students in M.Com.) one of the leading Faculty in Chandrapur and Gadchiroli District and also in Gondwana University, Gadchiroli. The Faculty has running Institute of Higher Learning Research and Specialized Studies (IHLRSS). Total 13 Research Scholars were awarded Ph.D. Degree from the establishment of Research Center. Currently 24 Research Scholars are perusing their Ph.D. Under the different Guides and under the Subject of Business Management and Administration, Business Economics and Commerce Board. The well qualified Staff including qualified CHB Lecturers is the assets of the Faculty.
