Highlights The Advertising & Marketing Communication course is a 10-months full time Post-graduate Diploma Programme and comprises of application based instructions by industry professionals. Designed to give a thorough working knowledge of Advertising and Marketing communication and how they inter-relate, the course comprises of modules, research projects and workshops. A strong emphasis is laid on the performance evaluation through projects and practical assignments based on research done by the students. While the first term provides a comprehensive perspective of Advertising and Marketing communication, the second term is project-based with hands-on production and execution. The course comprises 26 modules, workshops & Live Client Project (the costs of which are included in the tuition fee). The total of 505 sessions (95 credits) makes the student eligible for the diploma.
About us
Xavier Institute of Communication is a professional media centre which offers a variety of services in training and production. The two are based on the campuses of St. Xavier’s College and St. Xavier’s High School in Mumbai and have created a new pool for the industry. It is part of the Bombay St. Xavier’s College Society Trust: St. Xavier’s College (Mumbai), the Xavier Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai and Heras Institute of Indian History and Culture. CJC is one of the largest non-government media centres in Asia with close to 30 courses and around 2500 students. CJC was established in 1969 by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India to promote professionalism and excellence in the realm of media. It is still administered by the Jesuit Society of Jesus from Bombay, and is recognised as one of the prime institutions for excellent results. Xavier Institute of Communications was established by the Jesuits. The Jesuit schools were founded in 1540 by St. Ignatius of Loyola and are staffed by the Society of Jesus. The Jesuit method clearly transcends merely training students for jobs to produce them full and complete persons. It welcomes them into the world of knowledge, and the learners develop and reach their full potential through fun.
