It manages the complete placement process from training students to organising recruitment drives and ensuring students are connected with suitable companies.
The department also arranges on-campus, off-campus, pool campus, and mass recruitment drives for students. To improve industry exposure, AIET conducts guest lectures by industry experts, industrial visits, and interactive sessions that help students understand industry expectations and workplace requirements. Students are also guided in preparing for competitive examinations and higher career opportunities.
Process of Placement Drive
AIET follows a structured placement process to prepare students for recruitment. The institute starts pre-placement training from the second year itself, helping students improve skills such as aptitude, group discussions, communication, public speaking, and interview performance. These training sessions are included in the regular academic schedule.

Stellium Technology and Innovation Center (STIC)
The Stellium Technology and Innovation Center (STIC) was established at AIET in December 2022 in collaboration with Stellium Inc., a Houston-based management consulting company specialising in supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics solutions. The centre focuses on innovation, smart technologies, and industry-oriented technology solutions for global and regional markets.
STIC provides students with practical exposure through a fully functional experience centre equipped with automated conveyor systems, mini warehouse simulations, technology demonstrations, and learning facilities. The centre was developed in partnership with companies such as SAP, Zebra Technologies, and Racks and Rollers, creating an environment where students can understand real-time industrial systems and emerging technologies.
StraeCon India LLP Collaboration
AIET has also partnered with StraeCon India LLP, a technology-based engineering services company specialising in the structural steel fabrication industry. Through this collaboration, students and faculty receive exposure to real-world engineering environments and practical project execution.
The collaboration focuses on areas such as structural steel connection design, BIM coordination, design automation support, LOD 350 and LOD 400 modelling, quantity estimation, preconstruction planning, and engineering drafting solutions. This initiative helps bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements.
Student Innovation & Entrepreneurship
AIET encourages entrepreneurship and student innovation through startup initiatives and industry exposure. One such example is HomZa Cart, a food delivery platform founded by an AIET student entrepreneur. The platform gained recognition for its innovative approach to food and grocery delivery services, reflecting the institute’s support for entrepreneurial thinking and practical business ideas.
Internship Opportunities
The Training & Placement Department at AIET, along with faculty members, supports students in securing internships with reputed organisations and industries. Through collaborations and MoUs with government and private organisations, students gain hands-on experience and industry exposure in their respective domains.
