On July 15, 2022, KUFOS's University Placement Cell convened a key meeting to strategize on securing job opportunities for outgoing undergraduate and postgraduate students by forging strong ties with leading firms and industries. Chaired by the Director of Research alongside teacher representatives from all four faculties and student coordinators from various UG/PG programs, the cell decided to launch dedicated placement wings within each faculty—now fully operational under the Director's oversight—complete with registers tracking student placement details and all industry communications channeled through these units. Faculty members and placement teams actively scout employment firms and scholarships for higher studies, while brochures tailored to different courses have been created; two students per program coordinate activities, urging peers to register for personalized guidance on resumes, group discussions, interviews, workshops, and mock sessions. The cell also taps alumni in industry for HR connections and student mentoring, plans to onboard external industry experts, and gears up for university-wide job fairs to boost career prospects.
