About us
At Ganpat Vidyanagar, there is a modern education campus known as Ganpat University that has been developed with the goal of "Social Upliftment through Education". The university was actually formed on 12th April 2005, under Act No. 19/2005 enacted in Gujarat, and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It was a collective endeavor of the industrialists, technocrats, farmers, and business leaders to ensure quality education became accessible.
In its short lifetime, the university has become a member of reputed organizations like the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), etc., with various other recognitions from institutions including FICCI, ASSOCHAM, AIMA, etc. In addition, it has been declared as a Start-up Nodal Institute by the Government of Gujarat. The university has several initiatives for support innovation such as the SSIP (the Student Start-up & Innovation Policy) and the CED (Centre for Entrepreneurship Development).
