RBU got set up under that Punjab act, number 16 from 2014. They notified it through number 17-leg slash 2014 on August 13th that year. UGC handled the rest under section 22 of their 1956 act. That means they can award degrees now, you know. UGC sent the letter, number 8-23 slash 2014, CPP-I slash PU, dated September 26th, 2014. Pretty much official.
