Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have completed a B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka, or any other university recognized as equivalent by RGUHS.
A minimum of one year of work experience is required after obtaining a B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) degree in a hospital or nursing educational institution/community health setting. For candidates with a Post Basic B.Sc. A nursing degree, no such experience is necessary.
Candidates must be registered with the State Nursing Council as a registered nurse and registered midwives.
Foreign nationals, including Nepali, Bangladeshi, Bhutanese, and Tibetan refugees, seeking admission to the M.Sc. Nursing programs must have a valid certificate of registered nurse from their respective countries, except for those applying for the Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBG) specialty.

Exams

University examinations are conducted at the end of each year. To pass, students must secure at least 50% marks separately in both theory and practical exams.
Periodic class tests are held to assess students' performance throughout the year. The average marks from these tests contribute to internal assessments for both theory and practical.
A model exam will be conducted prior to the university exams to give students an idea of the exam pattern and help them prepare effectively.
