Harshita Global Educational Academy (HGEA) College of Pharmacy was founded in 2017 under the Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar Educational Trust in Bokaro. It is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, and recognized by the Department of Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare, Government of Jharkhand.
The college is spread across 2.5 acres in a peaceful, green, and hygienic environment. It has modern classrooms with good ventilation, well-equipped laboratories, a computer lab, a library, and a spacious auditorium. Students have access to sports facilities for both indoor and outdoor games, a botanical garden, and a common canteen that serves hygienic food. There are also separate hostels for boys and girls, along with a dedicated transport facility.
The faculty consists of highly qualified and experienced teachers who guide students through every aspect of the pharmacy curriculum. They help students understand fundamental concepts and prepare them for the working environment of the pharmaceutical industry. With hands-on training in sophisticated pharmacy equipment and their applications, students gain practical knowledge that helps shape their careers in the pharmacy field.
