Placement
The Placement Cell, Daulat Ram College, is a group of diligent women working hard to provide college students with excellent career and growth opportunities. It strives to accelerate the career of the students by bringing many reputed companies for internships and placement drives.
The session 2020-21 was held entirely online, but even so, the cell managed to raise its bar yet again. Amidst the pandemic too, the cell worked hard day and night to bring the best of opportunities for the students of Daulat Ram College. At the beginning of the session, some key webinars and workshops were held alongside the training of final year students for the upcoming placement cell.
This year, 50+ Recruitment and 65+ Internship companies hired from the college. 60+ students got their offer letters from the top-most companies like Wipro, EY GDS, Deloitte USI, Teach for India, Decathlon, Vedantu, L&T, Byjus, McKinsey, Digiversal, Chegg and many more. The highest package offered was 19.25 LPA by D.E. Shaw, and the average package was 4.9 LPA. The Placement Cell, Daulat Ram College, provided students with internship opportunities (On-Campus and Off-Campus) in various fields such as Human Resource, Management, Graphic Designing, Content Writing, Social Media Marketing, etc. These help the students to enhance their working proficiency, which allows them to enter the corporate world.
More than 225 students got selected in top corporates, start-ups, NGOs and private organisations such as Festa, Global Arcus, Belacci, RSVI, Spread Smile Foundation, Prep Junction, Growup Technologies and many more. Placement Cell’s Annual Internship and Career Fair – Incrementum 4.0 was successfully held on the 6th and 7th of March 2021, virtually.
The fair saw an overwhelming response from all over India, with over 1500 students and more than 75 companies. The highest CTC offered was 6 LPA, and the highest stipend was 20K pm. It was sponsored by Unacademy and co-sponsored by Great Learning.
The cell hosted its Speakers’ Conclave for the first time with five speakers, each at the pinnacle of their field, from Government officials to Influencers and Entrepreneurs. The theme for the conclave was “Importance of Financial Independence for Women”, which the speakers talked about in-depth. The Placement Cell offers positions of Junior Executives and Volunteers to the first-year students. The orientation program for freshers will be organised by the Placement Cell at the beginning of their new session
