About Dyal Singh College, New Delhi
Dyal Singh College traces its roots back to the vision of Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, founder of The Tribune and Punjab National Bank, who, with great foresight, established an educational trust in 1895 aimed at promoting secular education. The institution was initially founded in Lahore in 1910. After the Partition, it relocated to Delhi in 1959, becoming a constituent college of the University of Delhi. Since 1962, the college has been operating from its current location on Lodhi Road as a university-maintained institution.
Known today as an institution committed to academic excellence, the college has earned an 'A' grade from NAAC and consistently ranks among the top colleges in India.
