Placements at Dyal Singh College
The Placement Cell of Dyal Singh College acts as a bridge between students and top recruiters in finance, consulting, marketing, IT, research, and other fields, to help students materialise their dreams. Prominent companies, such as KPMG, EY, Deloitte, PwC, NIIT, Wipro, Genpact, HDFC Bank, and ICICI Prudential, frequently visit the campus for recruiting students.
This year, more than 100 companies approached the DTE for recruitment and nearly 200 students got placed in top-notch companies. The maximum package was approximately ₹23.5 LPA, and the average package was close to ₹5 LPA. Strong placements were also seen in the previous year, with over 90 recruiters participating and placing 205 students. That year, the highest package was ₹ 36 lakh per annum (LPA), and the average package was ₹ 5.7 lakh per annum (LPA).
The Placement Cell also places a great emphasis on internships, as we believe in preparing students first and then preparing them for the industry. Internship stipends have soared to as much as ₹40,000 a month, providing students an opportunity to gain industry exposure as well as financial backing for the year.
