About St. Peter’s Medical College, Hospital and Research Institute
Located in Hosur, Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu, St. Peter’s Medical College, Hospital and Research Institute was established in 2008 by the St. Peter’s Institute of Higher Education and Research (SPIHER) Trust. The institution was founded to address the healthcare needs of the poorest communities in the backwards districts of Krishnagiri and Dharmapuri, while also creating opportunities for village students to pursue medical education. Spread across 121 acres, the campus houses a 1000-bed hospital, residential quarters for faculty, staff, and doctors, as well as separate hostels for boys, girls, and nursing staff—ensuring a complete academic and living environment for medical education and patient care.
