Highlights The Department of Physical Education and Sports, BSSS is an academic department as well as service unit. The department's goal is to provide students with a solid understanding of health and human performance that will help them become competent and productive leaders in a variety of physical activities and professional roles within fitness, exercise and sports. It plays an important role in providing an undergraduate program B.P.E.S. (Bachelor of Physical Education & Sports) introduced in the year 2019. The undergraduate program is designed and will run according to the norms and in affiliation to the Barkatullah University. The curriculum of the degrees is designed based on the practical implication of the program giving equal emphasis to both theory and practicals. The Department of Physical Education & Sports is well equipped with modern infrastructure including a Fitness Center which caters to the Physical fitness and routine exercises and a state of the art Sports Complex to successfully provide facilities to conduct and organize both indoor as well as outdoor games. The activities conducted by the department include Swimming, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Table-Tennis, Lawn-Tennis, Taikwando, Cricket, Handball, Football, Athletics (track and field). It manages intercollegiate sports competition at state as well as national level.

Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports (BPES)
Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports (BPES) is a 3-year undergraduate professional course that trains students about the importance of being physically fit. “We’re promoting skills, knowledge and positive attitudes for both individual and team sports. The curriculum includes sports management, psychology, health education, and anatomy, physiology, fitness and adventure sports among others. The students have hands-on experience in arranging sports events, coaching camps, adventure camps, fitness training and Self-defense classes (especially for girls) and internships with sports organizations like SAI and NYK.
