Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the testing team to execute test cases for mobile applications.
- Assist in identifying and documenting software defects and inconsistencies.
- Conduct various types of testing including functional, usability, and performance testing.
- Document and report identified issues and test results using bug-tracking tools.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce, analyze, and resolve reported issues.
- Contribute to improving testing processes and procedures for mobile applications.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of mobile application testing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and their operating systems.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous exposure to mobile app testing through coursework, projects, or internships.
- Experience with mobile testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, XCTest, Espresso, etc.).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to understand mobile app requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new mobile testing methodologies and technologies.
