Roots Collegium aims to make the admission process simple, transparent, and student-friendly for students from all walks of life. The process begins when a notification about admissions is published on the college's official website, indicating that applications are open for the new academic session (usually between May and June). Students can apply online at roots.ac.in by registering and submitting all required documents through the online application. Alternatively, students can download the application form from the website and submit it either in person at the college office or by post, along with a demand draft of ₹1,000 in favour of The Principal, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Government College, payable at Ambron. Required documents include 10+2 mark sheets, transfer certificate, migration certificate, ID proof (Aadhar card/passport), photographs, and caste/category certificate, if applicable. No separate entrance test is conducted; admission is solely based on marks obtained in the 10+2 qualifying examination. Upon verification of applications, candidates are shortlisted and notified via email or SMS to attend document verification, personal interviews, or counselling sessions at the college. This step is very important—students and their families can visit the campus, meet faculty members, interact, ask questions, learn about the program structure, curriculum, campus facilities, and meet current students to discuss extracurricular activities, clubs, internship opportunities, and placement scenarios. After documents are verified, fees are paid online or at the college office, and registration is completed, admission is finalised. The entire process adheres to the academic standards of Osmania University, ensuring fairness and impartiality for all eligible candidates.
